The benefits of pure, natural soap

Botanical oils + salt extracted lye = soap + naturally derived glycerin + super nourishing fatty material (superfats)

The artisanal method of cold saponification is essentially a chemical reaction that produces soap. By avoiding heating the botanical oils, the ingredients retain more of their skin-loving nutrients. Mujō cold processed soaps effectively soften and nourish the skin, due to the oils and the high concentration of natural glycerin. This gently purifies and rebalances the skin without damaging the delicate barrier, thanks to the high percentage fatty acid content (still potent after the saponification process). The higher the percentage of superfats, the more nourishing the soap is, effectively feeding the skin rather that stripping it during the cleansing process. Mujō soaps are made from a base of Cocoa butter, Coconut oil, Shea butter, Olive oil and Castor oil. Some have added super oils such as Avocado or Sea Buckthorn.
